Family values, or whats left of them anyway.
So call me old fashioned, but...
Has anyone else noticed that our culture has taken a big dump?
And yes, I am going to blame that on the watering down of family values.
And no, I'm not some fist-shaking bible thumper who grew up in the ferfect June Cleaver-like family. And no, I don't live in a big plastic bubble because I'm afraid of the world.
My brother and I were both raised by a single mother because each of our fathers thought taking care of your kids goes only as far as the paycheck garnishment.
Have you noticed that the traditional American family is under attack?
Nobody gets it that there is a difference between spanking your kids and beating them.
I heard on the radio that this woman in California made her son stand on a busy street corner holding a sign that says "I'm stupid' because she caught him with 'a minimal amount of marijuana' (as the news reported it). When I looked into the sign it said 'I'm stupid-I smoke weed'. GOOD FOR HER! Good for him he's got a mother that dosen't want him to end up like the rest of California who, by the way, is still pushing a bill through which would make it illegal to spank your kids. Good for her. They'll probably throw her in jail though.

I'm sure some gay people probably were just born that way, didn't choose to be gay, and really can't help it.
But then why the sudden rampid increase in gay culture then? Why is it so popular now?
It's like there's all these young people who only find identity or culture by turning gay.
How come if someone in school calls my kid a b*itch and she calls them a f*g, he gets a detention and she has commited a hate crime? (hypathedical)
How come nobody has a parade to celebrate "strait pride'?
And finally,
DIRTBAGS!
People who bring children into this word and don't take care of them.
And I'm not just talking about people who neglect their kids, although I hope there's a special room in hell for those people.
I'm talking about people who are just to lazy to give their kids a proper upbringing and teach them right from wrong.
The people who park their kids infront of an x-box for 10 hours a day, let them listen to music that is just aweful, and stood them in 'time out' and counted by halves when they were little.
And then are clueless when he grows up to be an obeise crack dealer who can't hold a job at kum & Go. They're idiots, and it's their parents fault.
Until our society embraces a culture of values and respect we will continue to spiral down into the same toilet that sells on TV every night.
